S3Drive - MP3 Playback not working

I've uploaded some MP3s to the free plan account but when I go to play them back, the play button turns into a spinner for a while and then stops and nothing else happens. I've got e2e encryption enabled (and can see other files in that account just fine). I'm using macOS Sequoia 15.0.1 with S3Drive client 1.9.12. Same happens with 1.9.13 on Android 15 and S3Drive web client. Any ideas?
